Life's equaliser: the lab coat. A day in the life at BMC.

A big shiny sculpture of DNA..reminds me of the facebook group, "I wish I was a DNA helicase, so I could unzip your genes"... *baaboom ching*. This is just what happens when too many life scientists are confined to a small sapce.
They paint the walls in each corridor a pretty colour so we don't get lost. Observe: orange=C.
And then people dress to match.
My nice shiny lab. Look how many pipettes there are! With those and that massive piece of sculptural DNA outside I can tell you one thing: there's a lot more money in Uppsala University than there is in UNSW.
This is what happens when you are forced to spend hours waiting for things to incubate. Hours. Ahem..
I have some more photos, albeit probably not really very interesting (but it gives you an idea of where I spend the majority of my waking hours, sigh), are here.
