Hola muchacos! Recently my computer stopped charging because the charging cable was broken, and so I have been on hiatus. Also...I have re-discovered a hobby which, gasp, is more interesting than the internet.

I am days behind on my mindless reading of blogs, and I have even stopped shopping on the internet drastically reduced my amount of internet shopping. It’s like having a new friend; a friend called Jan. Janome. Hah.

She is white and shiny, and I've been spending a lot of time with her. Though I am generally terrible at sticking to resolutions, my pre-new-year resolve is to cease my mindless purchase of clothing, and instead make my clothes. Yes…. There are a few exceptions, including but not limited to my being allowed to buy basics, such as 12 dollar ¾ sleeve shirts from Supre (although I probably own enough of those anyway), and things with many buttons or complicated-looking collars. I am also allowed to continue buying shoes from Endless.. it’s just the way it has to be.

My only issue now (apart from my lack of sewing expertise) is that, well… although online shopping has come to a temporary trading halt… fabric stores are like a black hole of temptation and credit card debt. I can see this becoming a real problem.
