Better late than never eh.

Someone actually told me that the whole "eh" on the end of a sentence thing makes me sound like a bit of a tragic Canadian. Just to clarify: I do not wish to emulate Canadians, living with one for three months was enough of an experience. I simply like to put eh on the end of a sentence because it sort of suggests that perhaps, just possible, there is something more there to think about. Also, I think it functions a bit like a knowing look at the end of your speech, almost like a wink and an eye-roll. But that's enough about that.

You might have noticed that I haven't been posting for oh, ages. Well actually, on second thought, because you probably stumbled on this by accident and don't plan on a) staying more than a few minutes, or b) ever returning, you probably hadn't noticed, but that's really not important. There are many reasons I could peddle out for being a lazy blogger, for example
1) I've become a drug mule and my recent trips to Columbia, Bali and Thailand have really taken it out of me lately (unlikely, but possible)
2) I've been in intensive care recovering from bullet wounds, inflicted by Christine, received during the Boxing Day lovefest at Granny and Grandpa's place (not only possible, but highly probable)
3) I've had some work done..you know, a nip here, a tuck there...and so have been bedridden, swathed in banadges and my own bruised, rotten flesh like some ancient Egyptian custom (possible, but let's be realistic here, not so probable)
4) I've been working 12 hour shifts at work and by the time I get home the only thing I can think about doing is passing out, not typing (bing bing bing bing)

Anyhoo, here's some New Year's Eve pictures of the fireworks, like I say, better late than never eh.
